The Mission
The Marine Corps League Department of Michigan Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established in 2007, is dedicated to supporting Michigan veterans, their families, and descendants through various programs, scholarships, and services. As a subsidiary of the Department of Michigan Marine Corps League - which comprises honorably discharged Marines and U.S. Navy Corpsmen and Chaplains who served with Fleet Marine Forces - we uphold a legacy of service and commitment. Established in 1937 by an act of Congress, the Marine Corps League continues to promote the interests and traditions of the United States Marine Corps. Your support enables us to provide essential assistance to those who have served our nation.

VAVS volunteers visit veterans in healthcare facilities, offering companionship, small comforts like books or coffee, and assistance with simple tasks so no one feels forgotten. Donations help fund the volunteer program by covering costs for items, transportation, and volunteer training, ensuring each visit makes a meaningful difference.
THEY PROTECTED OUR FREEDOMS, WE'RE PROTECTING THEIR FUTURES
Scholarships are awarded each year to children and grandchildren of Marines, helping cover college-related expenses, such as tuition, books, or fees, so students can focus on their studies. Donor contributions directly support these awards, allowing more applicants to receive financial assistance and pursue their educational goals.

Veterans and their families have access to practical services like career counseling, emergency grants, and community events, ensuring resources and support are available when needed.
